TÍNH TỪ VÀ TRẠNG TỪ 

Tính từ (adjective) là từ dùng để mô tả tính chất của danh từ (noun) hoặc đại từ (pronoun). Ví dụ: "a big house" (một ngôi nhà lớn), "an interesting book" (một cuốn sách thú vị), "a beautiful woman" (một người phụ nữ xinh đẹp).

Tính từ được sử dụng để giải thích cho người đọc hoặc người nghe biết tính chất của vật, người hoặc sự việc đang được nói đến.

Trạng từ (adverb) là từ dùng để mô tả cách thức, mức độ, thời gian hoặc tần suất của động từ (verb), tính từ (adjective) hoặc trạng từ khác.

Ví dụ: "He speaks fluently" (Anh ấy nói lưu loát),

 "She sings beautifully" (Cô ấy hát hay),

"They run quickly" (Họ chạy nhanh),

Trạng từ được sử dụng để giải thích cách thức, mức độ hoặc tần suất của hành động hoặc sự việc đang được diễn ra.

Về cách sử dụng, tính từ thường đứng trước danh từ hoặc đại từ mà nó mô tả, trong khi đó trạng từ thường đứng sau động từ, tính từ hoặc trạng từ khác mà nó bổ sung.

Ví dụ:

• She has a beautiful voice. (Cô ấy có một giọng hát hay)
• Trong câu này, "beautiful" là tính từ mô tả cho danh từ "voice".
• She sings beautifully. (Cô ấy hát đẹp)
• Trong câu này, "beautifully" là trạng từ mô tả cách thức hát của cô ấy.
