It was in Science (1) , Mr. Thomas was explaining to the class about the life (2) of a butterfly. Everyone in class was listening, except for Ryan. He was thinking and drumming to the new song that he liked. Bella was (3) by the drumming, she had a hard time listening too. “Bella, what is another term for cocoon? Mr. Thomas questioned. Bella couldn’t answer. Ryan was not aware that he was affecting his friend’s (4) . Suddenly, Ryan was back at home. Confused, he asked… “Why am I here, mummy? His mummy was on her phone and she wasn’t listening to him. “Get ready for school, Ryan.” His mummy was on her phone and she wasn’t listening to him. “Mummy, did you hear me?”. In the living room, Ryan’s daddy was (5) busy on the phone. “Daddy?”. “Let’s go Ryan.” In school, Ryan saw his friends and he came up to talk to them. “Hey guys! Something weird is happening today?”. None of his friends was paying (6) to him. He felt invisible. Suddenly Ryan is back in the classroom. It was just a dream. Ryan had fallen in the class. Ryan then realized that when someone is talking, it’s important to listen. “I’m sorry. Mr. Thomas, I promise to listen”. “Thank you, Ryan, I appreciate that.
