1. happy = glad = delightful (adj): vui
Graduation day is a monumental milestone in a person’s life. Everyone is happy on this day. We are glad because we have just ended a long journey in four years at the lower secondary school. We are also happy when getting some achievements such as: being the best student in your school, in your class, being nominated as the most effective activist person by other students in your class or just simply to get high marks in the last semester. The effort in the past year has had good results, the same with picking the juicy fruits in the garden.
2. nervous = worried (adj): hồi hộp, lo lắng
On the day when you are school leavers. Maybe you are chosen to make a speech in front of many teachers and students. Therefore, the feeling of being uneasy is understandable. And in some events, you might say some words with your parents and teachers. It is hard to reveal.
3. emotional (adj): đầy cảm xúc
The last day at the school which you go to and back. When you have to say goodbye to the place you have a strong attachment to the school and people.
4. excited (adj): háo hức
You look forward to the day. At that time, you can wear a graduation uniform, wearing a cap, a gown, taking some photos with your parents, teachers and friends are the things you are expecting.
5. confident = proud (adj): tự hào
You are proud of what you have done. You are proud of what you got.
But it is a long road ahead.
